Technical Support Executives Germany in Barcelona
Region : Barcelona , CataluñaOur client is a leading multinational in the Technology sector. As part of their strategic expansion plan, they are looking for several key figures for their Spanish Operations, where they have centralized their European Technical Support Service.
Based at their offices in Barcelona, we are looking for
Technical Support Executives Germany
The main duties will be :
1. Provide first level support to customers, offering solutions where possible to queries and incidents using remote access software packages
2. Respond in a professional manner to all the situations, ensuring a highly professional level of service and support for the customers
3. Use available technologies (telephone, e-mail, web reporting or network monitoring tools) to ensure the best possible service is offered at all times
4. Record and document all the solutions provided, maintaining updated customer files for future reference
5. Ensure that all incidents are followed up, where necessary, and that the customers are updated continually on the issues involved in resolving their incident
6. Provide basic user administration support such as password resets and basic level technical support where possible
We are looking for several people to work in this team who have :
1. Good knowledge of the Technology sector – you don’t have to be an expert in any field but you must be very comfortable working within a Technology environment
2. Knowledge in one of the following areas : Operating Systems – Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 03) ; Unix (Solaris or Linux) ; Networks (routers, firewalls etc) ; Active Directory (Users, Groups, Replication, DNS)
3. Passion for learning – you must be someone who has shown in the past that you have been able to learn new technologies quickly
4. Desire to provide top quality support – someone who can put themselves in their customer’s position and appreciate that they want solutions to their problems
5. Ideally 1 or 2 years experience working with Systems Administration or Information System management
6. Excellent phone and communication skills, both written and oral
7. Ability to work in a multinational multicultural team
8. Available to work in shifts, ensuring full coverage for the customers at all times
9. An excellent working level of English, as well as being a native speaker of the language required
