Posted Position Title: Sourcing Site Leader - Part time Career Level: Experienced Function: Sourcing Function Segment: Sourcing Location: Spain City: Madrid Postal Code: E-28700 Relocation AssistanceNo Role Summary/Purpose:GE Energy For our Sourcing department we are looking for a Sourcing Site Leader (m/f) Job Reference: # 1329544 Essential ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities: - We offer you the opportunity to help us further shape our Sourcing Strategy as a Sourcing Site Leader, drive synergies across the GE Jenbacher business and to explore purchase opportunities in the worldwide markets. - Working closely within the Sourcing team and colleagues within GE Energy, you further drive the integration of strategies into the organization and ensure implementation and enhancement of procedures and compliancy regulations. - You develop the procurement strategy, supplier base, and maximize MCTO (material cost take out) on assigned commodities using negotiation, E-Auctions, re-designs, and sub-tier component cost reductions. Further you conduct business analyses of quotations received, formulate negotiation strategies and lead negotiations with the suppliers as well as to manage and ensure quality, cost and delivery requirements are met from supply base. Operationally you process the requests, & orders and maintain the system to execute your strategy. - Pursuing the company’s sourcing strategies and material cost reduction initiatives you continually evaluate market conditions and monitor supplier performance to assure that all suppliers meet or beat the required price, quality and service level. The responsibilities also include working with cross-functional to develop the cost, quality, product and supply chain performance to the highest standards. - In doing so, it will be essential for you to maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers.
