DepartmentFor the Supplier Integration & Development department within Vestas Control Systems' SCM (Supply Chain Management) function we are looking for a new colleague who wants to make a difference in an area with immense importance. We are continuously strengthening our focus on our co-operation with the high quality suppliers of Low Voltage & Power Electrics components. You will ensure Vestas Control Systems' participation in selecting, managing and developing our external suppliers. We are focussed at retaining our high level of employee satisfaction in order to deliver the best results. Responsibilities and TasksYour main function is to be a member of category teams. You are going to assess & select/approve suppliers, run the PPAP process, train, coach and support key suppliers as well as external suppliers. Your focus will be to ensure a continuous performance increase towards the zero defect strategy. This on the long term guarantees a competitive advantage for Vestas and its suppliers. Your task areas will be within: * Roll out of Supplier Integration Programmes * Supplier Workshops & Assessments [Self/Pre/Full] * Strategic & operational development of key suppliers * Product Development support (Vestas/supplier) * Introduction of new methods & tools to suppliers * Continuous supplier quality performance follow-up * Internal/external training, coaching & ongoing support in all relevant methods & tools * Initiate/drive improvement activities/projects (DMAIC) * Basic knowledge in SE issues Qualifications and Work ExperienceYour educational background is most likely as an engineer. You have specific knowledge/education in Management Systems and basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management Processes. It would be highly appreciated if you possess experience from Automotive and/or Aerospace Industries. You recognize yourself in the following competencies and personal skills: * Knowledge of different analysis tools (Assessments, FMEA, SPC, NCR, 8D handling, Production part approval process (PPAP), Ishikawa, Pareto etc.) * Specific knowledge of particular products within the field of responsibility * Knowledge of Management methods (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma) * Fluent in English (oral/written) and experience in IT (MS Office) * You have excellent and convincing communication skills, and you are self organised What we offerYou will join a multicultural team of dedicated colleagues who strive for making a difference and have fun at the same time.Vestas Control Systems is known for its dedicated approach to team and leadership development.
