Italian Localisation and Forum Manager - Gibraltar

 

Select Recruitment Gibraltar have been appointed to recruit a native Italian Localisation and Forum Manager with strong online experience for a leading online educational portal.

With online material managed in 18 different languages this is a truly multi-lingual company.

As Localisation and Online Forum Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of content for the Italian site and to help in building up the Online Community through local content and perfect services.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

- Conceptual design, implementation and coordination of the Italian Online Community

- Establishing, coordinating, and leading a community team including moderators, coaches, translators, and editors

- Responsibility for the content and the functioning of the Italian Online Community

- Close coordination with the entire Community Management department

- Responsibility for the development, control, implementation, and longevity of specific community projects

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

 

- An academic degree preferably in the area of journalism, online communications or product management.

- Perfect command of Italian to the native level, both spoken and written

- Familiarity with Web 2.0 / Online Communities / Social Networks

- A strong motivation and high level of commitment

- The ability to work well in a team and to communicate openly

- A high level of English

- Excellent knowledge in Online Poker especially for the Italian market (preferred but not essential)

- Experience with content management systems (desired)

- Basic knowledge of web design / HTML (desired)
