Senior In-house freelance French-native translator

Tek is seeking native French speakers to work as in-house freelance English into French Senior Translators for its Madrid office.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include in-house translation, review and quality control in the IT/Technical/Marketing fields. You will be expected to produce high quality work on a consistent basis in order to meet the client's requirements.

Requirements:

- Native French Speaker

- Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics or Modern Languages

- 4+ years of professional translation experience in the IT/Technical/Marketing fields

- Thorough understanding of localization processes and workflows

- Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills

- Detail-oriented and quality-focused

- Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team, flexible and motivated, and able to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Excellent working knowledge of CAT tools (Trados, Catalyst, Passolo)

- Fluency in Spanish an advantage, preferably already based in Madrid
