DESCRIPCIÓN:
Reporting to the VP of Internal Audit, the candidate (male / female) will be responsible for
- Performing IT Audit procedures to determine the strength of internal controls and to ensure that procedures are being followed to preserve the integrity of our transactions.
- To ensure the company is in compliance with policies, procedures, industry standards and applicable laws.
- Ensure that practices are being followed to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Present to management recommendations to mitigate the risks identified.
- Prepare audit reports detailing recommendations and work completed.
- Evaluate management responses to IT audit recommendations.
- Conduct Follow up audit work as necessary.
- Responsible for documenting, evaluating, testing and reporting on the key IT processes and controls for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
- Conduct special investigations as necessary
- To adopt the operating principals (80/20, 30/30 and 90/10) within our work.
- Partner with External Auditors and others on a variety of audit assignments and special projects when required.
- Maintain good working relationships with management and staff throughout the company.
- Provide management with ad-hoc advice and guidance on controls when requested.
- Maintain CPE certification as necessary.
PERFIL BUSCADO:
Candidates will have a Business Science degree or equivalent qualification, and +/- 3 years audit experience (preferable) working with medium to large organizations and knowledge in working with of Sarbanes Oxley legislation.
Candidates will have a very good comand in English and Spanish, experience in working in a dynamic environment, ability to develop strong business relationships with staff at all levels, strong time management skills, good communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), strong presentation skills - small/medium audiences - 2-10 people and confidence in working with Senior Management
