The Position

In this hands-on role, the position holder provides application management and support of the full lifecycle of solutions from execution of new projects through operation to retirement, for applications in the area of Supply Chain, Finance & HR Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities during Project Participation include:

* Providing Subject Matter Expertise input into detailed solution design

* Supporting collection of user and functional requirements, and translating them into design specifications

* Supporting the test design; conducting and supporting functional (exploratory and system) testing; supporting user acceptance testing

* Coordinating installations and upgrades with business and infrastructure organization (in conjunction with Informatics Project Management)

* Supporting roll-out activities and Data Migration

Key Responsibilities for System Operations and Application Enhancements include:

* Coordinating smaller changes for systems within area of responsibility

* Coordinating and supporting security patching and upgrades with business and all Informatics functions

* Installing new systems and new releases into maintenance and productive environment, following SDLC and change management procedures Ensuring integrity and validated state during lifetime of application

* Ensuring compliance with security SOPs/policies, and adequate access rights are given to trained staff.

* Ensuring appropriate quality system documentation including technical system documentation, installation scripts, OQ/PQ's, test plans and scripts

Masters Degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar field

Certification within SAP BW 7.X is required

3-5 years of experience in SAP BW

Understanding and Experience with ITIL/ITSM and Project Management. Having the relevant certificates is advantageous.

Experience in Informatics Operations as well as in Service Support and Service Delivery

Experience in SAP system maintenance

Experience in applying design principles (business process design tools included) and of integration architecture principles within the targeted area of focus

Good communicator with peers, technical teams, and business representatives

Experience in GxP as well as Oracle knowledge will be a plus

Experience in Pharmaceuticals Industry advantageous

Strong technical skills, systems and requirements analysis

Ability to learn new technical concepts and systems

Highly adaptable to change with an international mindset

Special Requirements: Advanced English language skills

Availability to travel when required
