Location: Huelva, Spain.Reporting Line: Managing Director Huelva Site ; part of steering committee of the site.Mission: He/she will coordinate all the activities related to the Maintenance and Manufacturing and the Development of the Factory to achieve the budgets of volumes, quality . He/she will boost the continual improvement at the operations and the maintenance of the Factory, i.e. EHS, Product Management and reliability (costs, quality and uptime). He /she will carry out all the activities related to the packaging of the product according to the established procedures to obtain the best results in Security, Quality, Production, Housekeeping and Area Costs.Responsibilities: * To carry out all the activities according to the Policies and Internal Code and according to the EHS policies* To manage all the key items of the Transformation Plan of the Factory, EHS Improvement Plan and Product Management on his department to develop and coordinate the Plan as a Manager and to guarantee the achievement of the objectives, all the EHS procedures and extern norms.* To control all the operations of the Production process according to the objectives of volumes, quality and costs and to develop plans to decrease the total costs of production* Develop a strategy for production and maintenance that optimize the resources available (processes, maintenance and technique) to obtain the quality and quantity of final product with the minimal costs in the Production Line.* To coordinate the maintenance of the factory to guarantee the availability required of the systems according to the budget.* To contribute to the development of the Transformation and Improvement Plan managing the investing plan of the Factory.* To boost new investing projects to collaborate in the development of the business plan and to achieve the objectives programmed.* To guarantee that all the Production and Maintenance operations and projects are coordinated effectively in the Factory benefit.* To contribute to the Strategy, Policy and Management as a member of the Management team.* To motivate and to coach the employees to guarantee the capacity for work to fulfil the current and the future needs of the business. I.e. Excellence in the manufacture.* To guarantee the fulfilment of the procedures and the Quality laws in the operations of his department.* To guarantee the Cleaning and work advices and the correct use of the Individual Protective Equipment in his department, not only for the employees with contract but contractors too.Qualifications: * Professional experience 10 to 15 years in similar position (Maintenance and Manufacturing Manager) preferably in the Chemical Industry.* Deep Lean Culture in manufacturing and implementing and driving continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.* BS or BA preferred and/or equivalent experience. Postgraduate program will be a plus (MBA)* Fluent English & Spanish are mandatory* Travel availabilitySkills required: * Consultative leader of shift working team members in a demanding and complex manufacturing process, as well as an analytical problem solver being able to identify root cause issues and develop solutions through self starting and initiative.* Effective communicator being able to balance leadership, managerial and hands on aspects of manufacturing management.* Excellent language and interpersonal skills.
