SRG have been appointed to recruit several Portuguese Community Managers to work for a very successful online educational portal in Gibraltar.

With online material managed in 18 different languages this is a true multi-lingual company.

As Community Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of content for your respective site and to help in building up the Portuguese Online Community through local content and perfect services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responsibility for the results of the Portuguese Community Management team

- Leading your team of Community Managers and Freelancers as well as leading the community itself

- Representation and direct contact to the community through the forum as well as on live community events

- Informing the community about new content, features and promotions through news, forum and newsletter

- Assembly & supervision of a team of coaches, who produce videos and help the community on the forum

- Continuous transfer of translatable content & new features to your language through the assembly & supervision of a team of proficient translators and speakers

Professional Profile

- Academic degree

- Profound experience in leadership

- Extensive familiarity with Web 2.0 / Online Communities / Social Networks

- Perfect command of Portuguese, both spoken and written

- Very good organisational and communicative skills

- A strong motivation and high level of commitment, willingness to work long hours

- Enjoyment of teamwork and open communication

- A high sense of responsibility and a sharp focus on results

- Fun with our online communities & our product

- Good English (company language)

Beneficial Attributes

- Previous experience as community manager or moderator of an online community

- Studies or professional experience in the domain of journalism, localization, public relations or product management

- An affinity to (online-)poker

- Experience with content management systems

- Basic knowledge of web design / HTML

- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word)
