Responsibilities:
The Dutch Technology Sales Manager is responsible for delivering and consistently maintaining high service levels and also achieving team revenue targets through successful direction and pro-active management of Sales representatives. Major responsibilities include the delivery of sales results through a highly leveraged sales model. The individual will have the responsibility of hiring, training and managing a team of Sales Representatives to position Oracle Technology products and services as well as building and sustaining employee performance and motivation to grow revenue.
Responsibilities:
Business Management:
• Achieving the sales targets of his/her team.
• Setting and implementing team targets, action plan(s) and forecast(s) to ensure attainment of business goals as well as team revenue.
• Contribute to customer acquisition plans as part of the virtual account strategic teams.
• Develop coverage into new Oracle Accounts through call-campaigns and following-up on specific Marketing activities
• Business planning through resource allocation, territory planning and budget setting
• Leverage sales initiatives to achieve business goals
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with the Oracle License, Consulting and Support management to create a positive communication and reporting environment
• Implement quarterly action plan to ensure attainment of business goals.
• Set individual quarterly performance objectives for team members from departmental goals and measure regularly against objectives.
• Ensure high quality service for customer queries through on-going training & coaching of Sales Representatives
• Demonstrate time management, strong sales skills and knowledge of Oracle/Competition.
People Management:
• Recruitment and retention of employees
• Coaching and development of direct reports
• Managing employees performance and career development
• Motivate employees to ensure excellent individual and team performance as well as personal development
• Build develop and maintain a strong team culture
Qualification:
• Proven sales management experience preferably within the Technology sector
• Proven experience and ability in people management in a multilingual/multicultural environment
• Fluency in the Dutch language is necessary with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Sales experience and relevant commercial expertise
• Customer care orientation
• Driven by goals and standards of excellence
• Ability to understand and analyse the industry and market
• Excellent coaching & feedback skills
• High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, creativity, commitment
• Motivated to continuously expand personal professional knowledge
