Oracle Direct is an inside sales organization which focuses on maximizing coverage of our customer base. This is achieved by driving incremental value deals with our customers as well as managing the high volume, low value transactional sales.

It is one of the channels to market along with Field Sales and Partners in Oracle’s multichannel model.

The Oracle Direct Nordic sales representatives sell to Nordic customers using numerous collaborative and internet tools as whilst maximising our skilled resources both onsite and remotely. This enables Oracle to increase the choice and service to our Nordic customers and Partners and broadens Oracle’s coverage and reach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans and manages a team of Nordic sales representatives directly within a defined industry or product specialization pillar (UK )
• Responsible for the team meeting sales targets.
• Growth of Oracle's volume business throughout the Nordic territory
• Drive incremental sales growth in all product specialization areas within the technology remit.
• Clearly demonstrate OracleDirect’s value add to the organization by maximizing our coverage model and deal value.
• Building on the existing revenue stream by a combination of direct and indirect selling with Oracle's Nordic business partners.
• Building a strong working relationship with the Nordic field management team and ensure a positive profile and experience of OracleDirect as a key value added sales function.
• Maximize the potential of the Nordic sales force by developing the sales team through motivating, coaching and staff selection.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A proven ability to achieve results within a sales environment.
• Delivery against previous sales targets set and effective selling techniques.
• Sound technical knowledge of Oracle products and how these apply to Oracles customers.
• Good understanding of the Oracle structure and knowledge of competitors and competitor activity.
• Previous experience in managing and coaching a team of people.
• Demonstrate the ability to help employees follow through with key requirements for excellent performance and personal development.
• The ability to understand and effectively respond to the customers issues and to build credibility and customer confidence in Oracle's capabilities
• Ability to deal with complex problems, understand evaluate risks, apply personal insight and experience to business situations, make decisions where there is no precedent or formal procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with others.
• Fluency in English and a Nordic language
• The ability to multi-task - progressing several projects at the same time
• 3rd level education
