Management Accountant (Gibraltar)

SRG have been appointed to recruit for a long established Insurance company that have been based in Gibraltar for many years. Their reputation is well established within their industry sector and they are now looking to strengthen their Finance department.

The responsibilities and qualifications of the Management Accountant are:

Assist the Financial Accountant with the preparation of the monthly Financial Accounts

Ensuring all accounting information is compliant with UK GAAP and IFRS

All reconciliations including ledgers and banks

Excellent Excel and IT skills

Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT

Ideally you will already have knowledge of accounting for the Insurance Industry

Be a self starter

Liaise with Auditors and other government bodies when required

Have confidence in your abilities

Excellent communication skills

Have a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting
