Legal manager - Madrid

Multinational Company, leader in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector.

Reporting to the General Manager the candidate will be responsible for:

# Advising on commercial law, including contracts an commercial issues.

# Drafting, reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts.

# Advising the business on product regulation., including reviewing developments and legislation on relevant legal and regulatory matters.

# Advising on packaging and marketing activities.

# Taking on corporate secretarial duties.

# Advising on other areas of law as necessary, including competition, employment, IT, advertising, labelling, consumer protection, and health and safety.

# Building and maintainig strong working relationships within the Iberian business, and understanding business needs and strategic plans.

# Working with the Regional Counsel to develop precedents, guidance notes and updates for commercial management and other employees.

Requisitos Law degree and between 7 to 10 years of experience in a Law firm or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Experience in regulated industry would be desirable.

Ability to interact confidently with senior members of the organization, prioritise work and meet deadlines, to solve problems and find solutions.

Dynamic, proactive and flexible, ability to understand the business and to deliver advice and communicate complex legal issues to the business in a clear and logical manner, adapting style to suit audience.

The role will involve travel within Iberian Peninsula, and may involve travel to other parts of Europe.
