The team is a frontline evangelist and the direct line to customers.Your OpportunityInformatica is looking for an experienced Inside Sales representative to help build sales activity in Spain. The position will be based in Informatica’s offices in Madrid.In this role, you’ll use your knack for verbal persuasion and keen attention for detail to generate increased sales pipeline through the identification and qualification of new sales opportunities with both existing customers and prospects. In time, when there is sufficient pipeline you may take on the responsibility for closing upgrade and add-on business within a set of named accounts and close deals over the phone. You will leverage your sales experience, inter-personal skills and energy to meet team goals. In addition to the attributes mentioned, you’ll also be able to:- Apply your curiosity and knowledge about data integration and related technology to generate interest in Informatica products from sales leads and potential customers.- Use your organizational skills to create a productive workflow that the larger team can understand and follow efficiently.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will contact customers and prospects daily via phone to identify, manage, and close up-sell or add-on opportunities through all sales stages. You’ll conduct regular prospecting and sales calls to target accounts in order to impart product attributes and deliver demonstrations via online meetings. Using your strong prospecting, account management and closing skills, you’ll achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals as well as other defined objectives.- Qualify and further develop warm leads by performing custom, end-user requirements analyses.- Record daily sales activities in our CRM system to track interactions with prospects and customers- Conduct target account prospecting and sales calls/demos via the phone- Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals and defined objectives- Work closely with the marketing department on various sales campaigns. This will involve the following:- calling customers and prospects to encourage them to attend or participate in events or meetings- attending some of those events- meeting customers and prospects at the events- calling those people who attended or registered for the event afterwards to follow up on their interest- Qualify incoming leads from various sources including website, marketing events, incoming calls and work closely with Direct Response to ensure proper administration of our closed loop lead management system- Active involvement in account planning and mapping exercises in collaboration with local sales team- Qualify and develop leads though to appointment setting stage for hand over to local sales team or local sales partner channel- Follow up on leads passed through to external partner channel- Generate sales pipeline through target account prospecting to key decision makers (e.g. C level and Director level) and technical influencers within organisations- Build key relationships with prospects and customers to gain a clear understanding of company and customers goals to enable expansion of Informatica technology and solutions across the enterprise- Undertake cold calling campaigns around specific business propositions or market awareness into the set of named accounts- Provide in-office support and be a common point of contact during core business hours for customers, prospects and the direct sales team- Work closely with Sales and Pre Sales Consultants to meet prospect/customer requirements during qualification process including initial pricing quotations- Meet quarterly/yearly qualified sales revenue targets- Meet quarterly/yearly Managed Business Objectives as requiredYour Qualifications- A strong academic background with a University degree- 2-3years Sales/Lead Generation experience within an IT company with at least 2 years in a closing role- Demonstrated success navigating complex sales cycles and closing deals- Experience selling enterprise software licenses- Interest in achieving and exceeding revenue generation targets in a phone sales environment- Ability to foster team orientation with counterparts- Knowledge of navigating business organization structures, buying influences and purchasing processes- Computer skills and aptitude required- Strong interpersonal and commununication skills (written and oral)- Fluent English and native Spanish language skills (these are a prerequisite)Informatica offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, medical, retirement and employee stock purchase (ESP) programs, flexible time off and more.
