In House Video Games Translators

Our client a leading Video Game Globalization and Localization Company with offices in Dublin, Tokyo, Montreal and Rome. Working on a worldwide basis, we provide a range of linguistic, testing, and quality control services to Video Game Developers and Publishers alike.
Your Role
As a Translator you will join our in-house team of translators and
contribute to the release of outstanding products. Professionalism, creativity,
pro-activity, flexibility and enthusiasm are key to this role. You will translate,
review and proofread texts in your mother tongue, create glossaries and
manage terminology!
Your Responsibilities
Translate, review and proofread texts in your mother tongue.
Support the testing team.
Create glossaries, manage terminology and create guidelines.
Perform Quality Assurance tasks.
Be responsible for all linguistic aspects in support of our
customers and help them achieve the best possible quality products.
Requirements
Excellent fluency in your mother tongue
Outstanding attention to detail
Quality focused
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability
to write accurate, unambiguous and concise documentation in
English are essential
Understanding and experience (not necessarily professional) of
interactive games and games consoles is essential
High level of computer literacy
Strong team player
Experience of Software Localization a definite advantage
University Degree or equivalent qualification in related field
an advantage and/or relevant experience.
