Financial Controller (Spain) - Promotional Products

Due to having won large and significant deals with multi-national accounts across Europe we, have to expand our busy Spain office.​ For this, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller who will report into the Finance Manager and assist to drive all financial matters across Europe.​

This role will be strategically important to the growth of the business not only to help bind and cement ADM for the continual success but that we are positioned and recognised at the forefront of development within the promotional products and marketing industry.​

Main duties/​responsibilities:

· Assist financial management in Spain and globally for ADM World Wide

· Supervise and control all local invoicing process

· Assist and prepare all required reporting for both local and global

· Monitor and report on financial performance within the business and externally when required.​

· Analyse financial performance with focus on sales and cost monitoring.​

· Coordinate activities between ADM local accounting departments or local financial teams and with the global client.​

· Budget & forecast preparation

· Operating expenses follow-up (global and local), ensuring internal teams are working within their set budgets

· Cash flow follow-up

· Costing follow-up:

o Product Costing for global account

o Vendor cost follow-up/​benchmark for local vendors (Glass/​textile)

Knowledge/​Experience:

· Candidates will possess 3+​ years financial controlling experience working at group level.​

· Strong academic record, be qualified ACA (ideally)/​ACCA/​CIMA,

· Excellent command of spoken/​written English

· Excellent IT skills within all MS office suite and especially within Excel

· Understanding of individual cultural differences and ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients.​

· Team player that leads by example

· Problem solving and the ability to identify and clearly present solutions.​

· Willingness to travel, if and when required.​

· Experience within the promotional goods, sales promotions industry would be advantageous.​
