Financial Accountant (Gibraltar)

SRG have been appointed to recruit for a long established Insurance company that have been based in Gibraltar for many years. Their reputation is well established within their industry sector and they are now looking to strengthen their Finance department with a senior member of staff.The responsibilities and qualifications of the Financial Accountant are:•Full preparation of the monthly Financial Accounts•Ensuring all accounting information is compliant with UK GAAP and IFRS•All reporting for Board of Directors•Excellent Excel and IT skills•Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT•Ideally you will already have knowledge of accounting for the Insurance Industry•Management of Finance team members•Liaise with Auditors and other government bodies when required•Have confidence in your abilities as Head of a department•Excellent communication skills at all levels•Have a minimum of 5 years experience in accountingIf this sounds like a challenging opportunity for you please send your CV without delay.
