Posted Position Title: Field Service Technician Center Area GE Jenbacher Career Level: Experienced Function: Services Function Segment: Field Services Location: Spain City: Madrid Postal Code: E-28700 Relocation AssistanceNo Role Summary/Purpose:As part of the Service Operations organization the main responsibility in this position will be to execute preventive & corrective maintenance of our gas engines, in order to assure the correct performance of our engines and fulfill customers' needs. The position is for the area of Madrid, Spain. Essential Responsibilities - Execute preventive maintenance of gas engines following company rules and procedures. - Diagnosis of failures and formulation of solutions. - Repair works / problem solving of engines to ensure engines' performance and availability. - Keep the customer informed of updates and usage of the engines. - Spare parts management: return of material after maintenaince work has been completed - Elaborate reports on incidents and activities completed at customer site. - Reports on preventive & corrective maintenance's actions completed. - Communication of improvements related to quality of service, engines' improvements etc. - Develop technical documentation when necessary. - Apply a zero tolerance policy regarding compliance, EHS, and quality. Qualifications/Requirements: - Technical background (mechanical and/or electronic/electrical) - At least 2-3 years experience, ideally on gas or fuel-diesel engines - Able to analyze and solve problems. - External focus - Team player - Focus on working under high quality standards - Used to work under pressure - Able and used to work autonomously - Good Spanish skills. Desired good level in English.
