Field Service Engineer Radiotherapy and Medical Imaging

A world leading organisation in the field of radiotherapy is looking for several experienced field service engineers to join their team in salamanca.
In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support for customers based in hospitals and medical clinics throughout the salamanca area. You will also take control of equipment management at your sites, resolving technical issues, calling in additional resources where needed, routine preventative maintenance, new fits, upgrades and repairs.
It is very important that quick response is given when required due to the nature of the medical therapy provided by these innovative machines and so you will need to live within an hour of salamanca; but at the same time this means you won't be looking after huge territories like in some field roles because you need to be able to get places quickly when needed.
Your ideal background will include a bachelor's degree in electronics, physics or an engineering discipline or a substantial amount of experience. Working with medical devices or equipment for 3 years in either a field service role or manufacturing/design role is also required. Experience with medical devices such as x-rays, CT scanners, MRI or NMR would be very good for you to be a success in this role.

Also you must be fluent in Spanish!
