The role: Enterprise Search Territory Sales Manager
You will be joining a growing team of experienced, high achieving sales people in Google's Enterprise Team focused on covering Search.
With Google Search Solutions you can deliver the same technology that powers Google's award- winning search engine to corporations and government agencies in your local market. By putting our technology to work on corporate intranets, extranets and public websites the Google search solutions make it quick and easy to connect employees, partners and customers to the information they need.
Your main role will be to develop and close sales of Google Search Solutions across the mid market in the region. You will develop new prospects and follow up on marketing and sales leads in order to deliver on quarterly quotas and achieve sales objectives for Google's enterprise business. Your focus is to build out an approach and business to successfully address a strategic segment of the market. You will work in this cross industry role requiring a broad set of capabilities to deal with stakeholders within the customer base and within Google to develop this market. Your role will be a quota-carrying hand-on sales role which requires a degree of business development thinking to drive the success of this market.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve quarterly sales quotas and generate and qualify all leads and sales opportunities, both direct and indirect through partners
* Make outbound calls to targeted customers and respond to inbound inquiries from marketing and lead generation programs
* Serve as the primary customer contact during bid submission, pilot test, legal review, and procurement. Keep thorough records of customer interactions and provide quarterly sales projections on a weekly basis
* Leverage Google sales engineering and marketing resources and provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them
* Represent Google at trade shows and industry events. Frequent travel European travel for training, conferences, and internal meetings
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree preferred with strong academic record (Master degree is a plus) preferably in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or Communications
* Proven track record of selling enterprise solutions in the mid market
* Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas
* Able to work independently, but within a team environment with a confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious attitude
* A thorough understanding of the role of channel partners in identifying opportunities, closing business and successfully deploying projects
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in French and English. Ability to work effectively with remote teams
