We will create the research platforms and services of the future that will power our customers toward business and personal successThe Editorial IT Programmer will be responsible to implement and test the new editorial applications needed by the editorial team, like the Content Management Systems (CMS), Datasets, Pegasus roll out and maintenance all the current applications.Responsibilities:* Ability to turn requirements and technical designs into high quality software, with regards to policiy, procedure and standards.* Develop alternative solutions for resolving a problem in accordance with the established procedures, assess the options and determine the course of action* Understand the nature of the problem, identify the key facts and any linkages; understand and evaluate data* Detect and communicate in advance negative or positive deviations to assigned tasks* Capacity to analyze editorial workflowsQualificationsRequirements:* Expert in Client/Server applications like Delphi* Good knowledge in PLSQL and Oracle10g* Knowledge in testing metodology* Well organized and disciplined* Desireble certification in Information Technology studies* Proven experience as analyst/programmer* Fluent in English and SpanishThomson Reuters employees take pride in providing our customers around the world with information that is timely, accurate, unbiased and trusted.
