Job Posting Title: Dutch Portfolio Management & Telesales RepresentativeAutoReqId: 131232BRResponsibilities: This position is part of the One Phone Channel in World Service and is responsible for covering 2 main activities carried out within this merchant revenue generating area:The successful candidate will dedicate 65% of their time to Portfolio Management and 35% to Telesales.1. The main responsibility of Portfolio Management is to remotely pro-actively manage Relationships with High Value Core Merchant Accounts and act as the Operational and Servicing point of contact for these accounts, liaising with the relevant departments internally to efficiently resolve any queries/issues.- Monitor the performance of these accounts and action when data triggers are hit (for example Discount Billing Volume decrease)- Generate New Booked DBV from the accounts through branch additions and closing of On-line coverage gaps in order to manage and improve the Perception of coverage- Generate additional SE Revenue through selling in merchant funded marketing campaigns, address specific re-engineering projects, etc.- Engage accounts in complimentary marketing where appropriate- Manage ad-hoc escalations from these accounts2. The tasks related to the Merchant Sales Representative (Telesales) role will be focused on strategic outbound campaigns calling, in order to develop, manage and close out sales opportunities through a prioritized lead source across different merchant industries.- Contact prospective merchants on behalf of GMS partners to increase target coverage.- Lead sources will range from business partners to card member referrals and the like- Generate New Booked Discount Billing Volume (NBDBV)- Significant contribution to overall new Locations in Force (LIF) and NBDBV goals- This position is adhered to an incentive schemeRequired Qualifications: Required Qualifications- Has studied or worked in the local market for a minimum of 1 year within the last 3 years- Excellent knowledge of local culture, business rules/etiquette, economy- Excellent Interpersonal skills- Team player- Professional and mature attitude- Passion for serving customers with proactive solutions that grow relationships- Ideally customer service background with sales and relationship building experience- Strong organizational and time management skills- Results/sales driven, independent & self-motivated with dedicated work ethic- Good analytical & numeric skills- Good level of negotiation/sales skills- Resilience, ability to push back and handle rejection- Superior objection handling abilities- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to potential merchants- Ability to relate to small & medium businesses- Ability to think creatively- Consistently demonstrate ability to apply tenacity and resilience to seek alternative solutions within a defined rate structure, enabling conversion of merchants who may have formed a viewpoint not consistent with our delivered value- Maintain high level of discipline for lead and time management- Computer literate- Dutch Native Speaker- Employment eligibility to work in SpainPreferred:- Previous experience of selling financial products- Previous experience of business to business sales- Previous experience in a relationship building role- Previous experience of American Express, ideally within Merchant Services- Good knowledge of internal Merchant related procedures, operations and products- Good knowledge of the small business culture/environment within the market- Previous experience in dealing with difficult customers or being in a customer facing environment- Fluent spoken + written EnglishWork Location Country: SpainClassification: Full-Time - RegularJob Function: Customer Service
