Our solution set is viewed as a ‘platform’ within an account and changes the role that IT plays within that account from being considered a cost burden to a strategic deployment.Job Description In this role, the Business Specialist Executive will have responsibility of selling the Enterprise Mgmt portfolio in the EMEA region to a set of large Enterprise Accounts. The Senior Business Specialist will work with the VMware Account Managers to promote Enterprise Mgmt products within their accounts, uncover opportunities and manage sales cycles. The successful candidate is a senior sales professional; works well in a team environment and is comfortable working hands-on in all aspects of go-to-market. The Business Specialist Executive will report to the Sales Director of Enterprise Mgmt Portfolio for EMEA.Responsibilities- Responsible for selling the complete Enterprise Mgmt portfolio of products, and associated services to a set of Enterprise Accounts- Work with VMware team to develop a sales strategy and account plan for each key account, which focuses on relationships, technology and revenue- Build pipeline and manage sales cycles in order to achieve a sales objective.- Establish VMware as an Enterprise Mgmt leader in the set of accounts- Leverage VMware’s core teams and partner network to accelerate penetration in his accounts- Ensure required reporting and forecasting are completed as required in a timely manner- Share ideas, and support to team membersRequirements:- Experience with enterprise software selling into Enterprise accounts- Experience with IT systems management solutions- Proven record managing complex sales cycles in large accountsOther Requirements- Solid software sales experience- Proven track record of quota over-achievement in a highly competitive environment- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively sell to senior executives and CIOs- Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high quality presentations to executive audiences- Strong customer-facing and relationship building skills- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple large opportunitiesBefore you join, VMware will require you to go through a pre-employment screening process.
