Information Architect
Job description
As Information Architect you will be part of the IT & Development team responsible for the managing and coordinating developments of our web applications. You will be the interface between the WayToStay business requirements and the development team responsible for implementing them, as well as ensuring that content and design standards are maintained.
You are involved in managing aspects related to gathering requirements, writing functional requirements, development, testing, implementation, monitoring performance for both our customer facing and internal web applications.
You will be part of a small multicultural team so will need to have a real get up and go attitude. You have a natural analytic strength and are an excellent multi tasker, as well as organization of projects. You will be key in ensuring that our organisation receives top level support in this area.​
We are looking for
Age: 25-30
Language: Verbal and written fluency in English.
Education: Degree in Engineering, programming, master or postgraduate valued
Experience: min 4 years working experience with web development
Tasks (some of the tasks only)
- Acquire, validate, prioritize requirements obtained from different company departments
- Author functional requirements
- Coordinate projects with management, graphic designers and programmers
- Monitor website performance and manage new deployments
Complementary skills
- Clear and efficient in communicating
- Problem solver
- Team player
- Able to handle multitasking, ability to manage several simultaneous projects
- Well organized
- Very good understanding of website solutions – back and front end
- Highly experienced in web standards (W3C) and practice
- Good understanding of relational databases.
- Worked with Version Control (ie Subversion)
- SQL data base experience
