The AP Team leader Accountant is also responsible of driving simplification and process standardization to the One GEHC AP team.for statutory and financial accounting and ensuring numbers roll up in a sensible form and in line with standard processes, and for SOX 404 testing and compliance. The Essential ResponsibilitiesDuties include (but are not limited to): • Maintain the financial ledger of a legal entity in compliance with local laws/GAPs, tax codes, government regulations and filing requirements. • Book Journals to reflect financial activities in compliance with above same (may include some or all of: accruals, fixed assets, stock/inventory, accounts receivables, accounts payables, expenses, payroll) • Ensure timely and defect-free account reconciliations. • Ensure all expenses paid & recorded in ERP system, ensuring compliance within SOPs and business/company policies. • Participate in regular balance sheet reviews and variance analyses • Provide accurate and timely statutory & management reporting • Provide reporting for Corporate/Business requests • Participate in controllership initativesinitiatives and internal and external audit projects • Supervise the DI & U/S AP accountants, and drive simplification and process standardization to the One GEHC AP Team., Qualifications/Requirements:1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other business related field ; OR high school diploma / GED and 2 4 years accounting or finance experience 2. Accounting or Finance Qualification 3. Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner 5. Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change 6. Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions ; able to quickly grasp new ideas 7. Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations 8.
